on Ecodesign, Energy Labelling and related measures
VHK is a leading technical consultant of the European institutions and national governments on Ecodesign, Energy Labelling and related measures. Projects include methodology development, general support projects as well as over 40 product-specific preparatory or impact assessment studies.
VHK assistance relates to technical, economic and environmental analysis in preparation of Ecodesign-related legislation by the European institutions in consultation with Member States, industry, NGOs and other stakeholders. VHK has worked as a specialist on ecodesign-related policy in the Netherlands since 1984 and at European Union level since 1993.
Ecodesign and Energy Labelling are the most effective energy efficiency instruments in the EU, expected to realise about half of the EU's energy efficiency goals and over 30% of its greenhouse gas reduction target for 2020.
